So I have "gaming" #laptop which came with 500 GB #nvme drive and space for other #HardDisk. I moved system (three partitions, /, /home and /opt which I somehow use like D drive on Windows ) to this nvme and put 500 GB #ssd drive from previous laptop in empty space. This ssd drive is used for #Steam library as a whole. And later I got 5 TB drive (not ssd) for birthday and it's also used for additional Steam library. And now it's almost half full.

Attentat 1942 (Multi, XPd on PC) It is 2001 in Czechoslovakia, and your Grandpa is ill. You're helping Grandma with their house and discover Grandpa was taken to Auschwitz in 1942.. but why? Investigate this mystery and uncover his past.
This is much more of a visual novel than a "game". You mostly listen/watch/read (subtitles cause dialogue is not in English) FMV clips of actors playing various characters, then click stuff. Lots more reading, as there's lots of "encyclopedia" entries and text dialogues to advance through.
The actors are great. Even tho I didn't understand the languages spoken, you can see they're really into their roles and their emotions pull you into the story. Music is chosen to fit the settings and situations well.
Naturally there's some heavy content here and they don't pull punches with the videos either, so fair warning if you're sensitive to historical videos of atrocities and death.
I found this experience to be very informative, as it covers the Holocaust from a lesser talked about area of Europe and includes a Roma character in a decently important side role to the overall story. And IDK, kinda felt like this was a good time to refresh and expand my knowledge of that part of WW2, considering. If you're interested in history and learning stuff, and like to read I would definitely recommend checking out Attentat.

Back to the thinky pain games, this time with more of a hidden object type game. Find and open hidden panels, unlock doors, manipulate and combine objects you find to create tools, etc.
Nice setting for this one, Renaissance Italy is always a cool place to check out, and traipsing through Leo's inventions and notes is good fun.
It's a lot of pointing and clicking on PC, which by the end does feel a bit repetitive, especially when you're stuck going back and forth several times between 2 locations to solve a puzzle. Feels a bit like padding, tbh.
Still, it's only 10 hours to complete with 100% achieves which is not that bad. It's pretty straightforward, and there's a hint system if you do get stuck.

Recently discovered the iiSU game launcher (currently for Android) and I've immediately fallen in love with it. It screams Nintendo Wii/3DS era UI, but modernized. Seems to be mostly meant for dual-screen devices, but works on just about everything. I've got it installed on my Retroid Pocket Classic, and it'll likely be replacing ES-DE on there. Cross-platform desktop support is planned so I'm hoping for a Linux version at some point!
