其实是准备玩PVZ2的，但是无论是PVZ2国服还是国际服，给我的感觉都不像一个策略塔防游戏，而是数值氪金肝进度游戏
所以准备玩：

1. PVZGE（pvz2桌面改版pvzge.com plants vs zombies gardenless，等下会写一个帖子介绍一下）
2. PVZ2:Reflourished（感觉不会和PVZGE差别太大，暂时雪藏 reflourished.fandom.com/wiki/Installation_Guide）

Nobody *wants* to use Windows anymore. Folks rush out to buy Apple and nerds favour Linux, but Windows is increasingly just something forced on users by corporate IT.

Proton/Wine getting more and more mature is eating away at one of the few remaining things that kept non-corporate users in the Windows ecosystem.

🏁 Martinsville Raceway Recap | ETHiX Racing Scores Double Top‑10

Martinsville delivered its usual brand of chaos with twenty‑eight cautions, tight racing, and plenty of contact, but ETHiX Racing walked away with a strong showing. Both Steven Carlile and Chelsea Carter fought through the mayhem to earn top‑ten finishes.

Carlile started on the front row in second and showed race‑winning speed throughout the afternoon. Scoring stage points in both stages, he led 47 laps during Stage 2 and ran inside the top five for most of the day. A speeding penalty at the end of Stage 2 cost him crucial track position, but he clawed his way back to finish P4 at the checkered flag. He remains P6 in the championship standings.

Carter returned to the track with one of her cleanest and most composed races of the year. After qualifying P14, she held steady through the chaos, finishing P14 in Stage 1, P12 in Stage 2, and ultimately P8 at the finish. Her strong run moves her up to P25 in points.

Carlile reflected on the day with a mix of pride and frustration.
“We had a car capable of winning, no doubt. Leading laps felt great, finally getting decent stage points was amazing, but that penalty put us back in traffic and made it difficult to recover. Still, fighting back to finish fourth is a solid result.”

It was a bruising afternoon, but ETHiX Racing leaves Martinsville with momentum and confidence as the season rolls on. The series is off next week, then returns on April 15th with another short track – Bristol Motor Speedway.

My 320 x 256 pixels intro picture for our 1992 Hoi platform game.

I initially made this in the Amiga's "Half-Brite" 64 colors mode, but the intro's 7-channel music took so much processing power that the image needed to be reduced to 16 colors, hence the harsh sky shades. 🥲

The "1 meg only" notice indicated that the Dithell's Wonderland game needed 512 KB of so-called Fast RAM on top of the Amiga's default 512 KB Chip RAM. Hoi didn't need that. 🙂

A short, looping 4-channel chiptune track by our composer Ramon Braumuller, made for the "Peanut Butter Power Game" we developed on an Amiga for a 75-second Calvé TV commercial in 1992.

The game was also played in a children's TV show called Telekids, where kids could win their height in stacked peanut butter jars.

Surrounding Clockwiser development, we had also started creating Moon Child, a sequel to our 1992 Hoi Amiga platform game. Moon Child was aimed at the then-new AGA Amigas, and featured Hoi as an automated sidekick.

In 1995, a Dutch media company offered us a steady job where we could develop Moon Child as a semi-independent game dev division.

As Commodore went bankrupt in 1994, we were required to restart MC development for Windows, enabling us to increase the resolution to 640 x 480 pixels.

The game's scrolling is smooth, but I reduced the frame count for the GIF.

Made a return to the retail #WorldOfWarcraft with my wife. Need to say it’s not that bad. Time walking is a killer feature for returning players. Also, a lot of good addons made their way to the core game. We even finally have merged bags!

So well, new Super Liam... Am I the only one who's a bit disappointed? Like seriously. It's all the old stuff, with all the low-quality, distorted cutscenes, plus a new mode with the old enemies plus some AI slop.
I loved the original edition. I think any fellow blind person at my age has played it at some time and for us it's really nostalgic. This game was my childhood. It would have deserved a much better remake. Liam has a really solid past of programming and he's really talented. However, releasing a mode that's just some well-read results of a prompt to Claude and the same old stuff with AI music in the background is so disappointing. The game was so hyped most people thought it'll be something more uniqe. I personally never wanted the soundds to be redesigned, it's good as it was before, it gives nostalgic vibes. But fixing clipping, distortion and overall sound quality would have been a good idea and actually it would have meant "remake."
Now I just don't know what to think. I'll need to give it a go off-stream because this strange acting stole the show, after a while I just didn't want to keep watching due to the constant "oh there aren't any more modes, bye everyone, ooo what we are seeing here, I can't believe, a new mode!" Like we aren't 5 years old, we came here to watch what's new.
Well. Let's see, probably already tomorrow, but it'll be interesting to experience the new stuff myself and not judge on first impression.

Really enjoyed my #gaming session last night. It’s been a while since I played on my PS4, but it’s reminded me why I love it.

Which brings up the other dilemma: I really ought to replace the PS4 with a PS5, and my Switch Lite has broken so now I need to decide whether to replace it, and if I do, another Lite, a Switch, or a Switch 2. Augh. None of it will be happening for a while, but it’s going to be pricy…

(Yes, I’m subeditor on a games mag, but it’s the writers who get loaned games kit as work tools. My PS4 was secondhand, bought from a workmate. I’m not buying a secondhand Nintendo because of stick drift. It’s an option for the PS5 tho.)
