Alles soll seine Ordnung haben. Die Fläche vor dem Haus möglichst eben. Die Wände sauber gesetzt. Gerade Linien. Wege, die dort verlaufen, wo ich sie haben will. In der Mine nicht einfach irgendwo hineingraben, sondern überlegen, wie sie einmal aussehen soll.

Ein Dirt hier weg. Einen dort dazu. Noch einmal nachmessen. Ein Tile weiter.

Sehr förderlich für den **inneren Monk**.

Denn wenn schon langsam, dann wenigstens ordentlich. Gerade Linien müssen gerade sein. Höhenunterschiede gehören beseitigt. Und wenn irgendwo ein Tile nicht so aussieht, wie es aussehen soll, dann weiß ich genau, wo die nächste Stunde verschwinden wird.

Wurm Online belohnt nicht das schnelle Klicken. Es zwingt mich nicht zur nächsten Quest, zum nächsten Level, zum nächsten Erfolg.

Fortschritt besteht aus vielen kleinen Veränderungen, die irgendwann einen Ort entstehen lassen, der vorher nicht da war.

Fast schon absurd langsam.

Langsamer als ein Puzzle.

Aber vielleicht gerade deshalb angenehm.

Kein Rennen. Kein Druck.

Nur Zeit. Ordnung. Und der innere Monk ist zufrieden.

I went to the 5e Wild Beyond the Witchlight adventure book for my J monster. As I read more about the Jabberwock, it definitely qualified as a "boss" monster, so I designed it as such.

They're almost never seen in their entirety, inhabit primal forests, and no more than one has ever been seen at a time.

🐍Naga and Orc🪓

Trying to fit an action pose in these spaces was a bit ambitious, but I'm very pleased with this orc. Trying to convey scales and curvature on the naga was tricky - a cobra's body flares and curls so much, and I have to use blocks to convey it!

Alright #ttrpg nerds, which dungeon layout do we like better: Option A (tight pack) or Option B (spread out)?

I've been working on this modular dungeon tile system for a while; the goal is to create something that'll let a GM put a dungeon together quickly at the table, revealing the space gradually as the players explore and offering a ton of reusability and customization.

It's coming along nicely. Looking forward to sending my players through this tomorrow!

If it is spread out, the players may get obsessed with finding the secret doors to whatever is inbetween.

My very first dungeon, I had a 10' x 10' solid block of stone that was just my idea of something to hold up the ceiling.

They spent a long time trying to find the secret door on one side or another.

I was new then. Now I'd know to change up and have something in there, like an elevator, or an empty shaft...
