🏁 Phoenix Raceway Recap | Strong Day in the Desert for ETHiX Racing
ETHiX Racing rolled into Phoenix with a two‑car lineup and left with one of its most solid team performances of the season so far. Both Steven Carlile and Tyler Krawczyk fought through loose conditions, heavy traffic, and a caution‑filled afternoon to score top‑10 finishes in Race 4 of the Owltone Designs Cup Series.
🔥 Steven Carlile – P6 (Tied for the Points Lead)
Carlile started P6 and spent most of the day battling a loose race car, but smart adjustments and an aggressive final‑stage strategy helped him climb into the top 10. He was one of the first drivers to make his final green‑flag stop, cycling forward late to secure a strong P6 finish.
He now sits tied for the championship lead with the #88 of Tyler Belanger.
⚡ Tyler Krawczyk – P8 (Up to 12th in Points)
Krawczyk started deep in the field but quickly showed speed, finishing P10 in Stage 1 and an impressive P5 in Stage 2, collecting valuable stage points. Despite suffering some damage mid‑race, he and the team made the right repairs and adjustments to keep the #48 competitive.
Running long on the final green‑flag cycle paid off, helping him secure a strong P8 finish and jump up to 12th in the standings.

[Sadly, popular Linux gaming utility Lutris is now AI slop and in response to people expressing their concern, the lead maintainer decided to remove all the attributions for the AI submitted changes so no one can fork it before the changes were made. Oh, also it probably renders the license complete garbage as well too.
At least we now know why it's become notably worse over the last few months and it saves me from writing up some Github issues.

Psychological relief is important.
I had recently discovered the game Enshrouded, which can be played single player, with a private group, or you can host a game for the public. You can play your same instance single player or multiplayer, and switch back and forth.
It has a Breath of the Wild meets Dragon Quest Builders vibe. My friends and I like it. It rewards coordinated team play. I have a level 8 character I run myself, and a level 5 to go with a buddy's level 5 and things are easier for our team play that for my higher level solo.
This is nice in that I can play it with people who are friends and I don't need to open it up further, maintaining my rule on multiplayer games of any kind (only play with people you can punch in the face. it forces civility).

Letztens habe ich gelesen, daß etwa 40-60 Millionen Menschen 3D Games am PC spielen, etwa die Hälfte sollen starke GPUs brauchen. 4,3 Milliarden Computer Nutzer spielen allerdings scheinbar keine 3D Games und da fragt man sich schon, warum Zocken immer als so relevant für Betriebssysteme gilt 😉

The disappointment was real earlier today when I set up my Xbox 360 console, looking to rediscover all the games I've not played for years, only to find that the disc drive does not open. 😭

I'm playing Oregon Trail on the switch 2. You don't have to care about the water supply, but I get these events "your water is running low. There's water here. Take it?" And every time I'm like I HAVE TO MANAGE THE WATER SUPPLY TOO?! And I take the water.
So everyone has typhoid and I could have just ignored that event, because no, you don't have to care about the water supply.
The Ghouls 'n' Ghosts 'n' Goblins range of Capcom platformers are among my all-time favorite games.
Love the spooky atmosphere, the gorgeous graphics, the soundtracks and the variation in the levels.
The games are very tough to complete. I owned Ghouls 'n' Ghosts for the Sega Megadrive, and painfully discovered that you needed to complete the entire game twice to reach the ultimate end boss: the Devil himself. 😓

So, "State of the #DID-Union": #Fotos sind zu #Immich umgezogen (und ich muss noch Doppelungen aussortieren. Sehr, sehr viele Doppelungen...), die lokale #KI sortiert und verschlagwortet stoisch vor sich hin mein komplettes digitales Leben in #Paperless. Den Strom dafür generiert (zumindest zum Teil) das #SolarPunk-Balkonkraftwerk. #Linux ist im #Gaming-Alltag fest verankert.
#Podcasts sind ein ernsthaftes Problem. #AntennaPod gibt's nur für #Android und NOCH habe ich #iOS-Geräte. #Spotify läuft völlig nahtlos einfach überall und nirgends - aber da heulen ja alles immer rum, wie ach so böse das doch wäre. Solange aber nicht alle Podcasts vollständig plattformunabhängig abonnierbar sind, komm' ich da nicht weg. Wobei ich mal alle mit Werbung konsequent löschen muss...
