“ #Apple readies its push into health with new AI doctor”
Yeah
no
absolutely not
Siri can’t answer “what month is it?” and Apple supposedly wants us to try an AI doctor??
Most applications (e.g. Firefox) have a feature where if the application crashes, it’ll asks you “Would you like to send the crash report to $companyName?”
What I'd like to know is: Does this really help the project? Is someone actually reading these reports? acting upon them? Are they useful, or is it just there to make us feel better?
It’d be great if someone like @thelinuxEXP @MichaelTunnell could do interviews to get some answers

Collecting Retro Computers is a lot of fun - but also requires discipline.
When I started I had the vague idea to want to have all Motorola & AIM CPUs in some Apple in my collection.
Well - this relatively quickly did end after it turned out I would need half a house 😃 .
So I re-invented my collection scope a few times since then - lastly when during a remote meet three weeks someone said "Nah, a Macintosh LC ain't no Pizzabox". After giving this some thought I had to take his side.
So I am now officially circling around
- Sun SPARC (workstation) machines - MUST HAVE THEM ALL :)
- Sun Treasures ... some Ultra, a bit of Blade & Ray
- Unix & Apple Pizzaboxes :)
- Apple Moto & AIM laptops
- some personal treasures
So how did your scope evolve?
I put together a "little" primer for people considering migrating from Windows or macOS to Linux.
The Linux landscape can be confusing when looking from the outside. Hopefully this document can give some initial guidance and knowledge about what all the new words and concepts mean.

Are #Apple devices really privacy-respecting? The truth is that user privacy is *impossible* without #FreeSoftware. Read more at https://u.fsf.org/3fy #DefectiveByDesign
Apple is now selling the Lumon Terminal Pro.
With the rumors of an iOS 19 UI redesign, does that mean macOS 16 UI is going to take from the Lumon Terminal Pro? Be ready for the Feedback Assistant reports about the lost of the ESC key functionality! #Apple #Severance
🎧 As it turns out, #Apple *REALLY* listens to customers. iI a virtual assistant is always on, so is the risk of, ahem, "accidental overhearing"
