So as some people guessed, and others who tuned in to my Lego stream at Christmas will know, the shuttle I was building implies that I also have the Enterprise-D set waiting to be built. Clocking in at 3,600 pieces across 30 bags and two books, it's going to be a big job.

For no reason whatsoever I'm sure today we have the movie cover art for the film Star Trek: Insurrection. There's a large planet across the lower half of the picture as if we're in orbit above and we see the USS Enterprise flying away from us at warp towards open space. There's a large menacing face looking down at the starship and planet, cloaked in red beams of light. Across the top reads, "INSURRECTION."

The grain on TNG is so much that it doesn't really make a difference if its 20000bitrate or 1000bitrate.

Like isn't this supposed to be enhanced?

a) Paramount+ in Germany (!!) only has the two-part versions of "All Good Things" and "Emissary", so some scenes are missing. Could you please check if it's the same in your country?

@gaghyogi49 Just watched these #DS9 "Emissary" scenes and was reminded me of these old thoughts:
1) Missed opportunity for a regular #TNG background character to greet O'Brien on the bridge instead of rando lieutenant.
2) Picard-O'Brien role reversal in transporter is nice!
3) We saw the energize sliders in use! How many times do we actually see this on TNG, DS9, & #VOY? Not often!
4) Transporter scene has rare TNG theme cue mixed with DS9 theme. (Thematic #StarTrek music left with Ron Jones.)

Just a reminder that you have only until January 8th left (after which #StarTrek leaves Netflix) to watch the unedited, full length 2-hour versions of the #StarTrekTNG' finale "All Good Things" and the #StarTrekDS9 pilot "Emissary". Talked to a friend with a fun Trek idea I never thought of before: Remaster Star Trek: The Animated Series with the same voice track but just better animation.

It'd be nice if we could update the rather repetitive music cues, but even if you just took the mixed audio and replaced the animation, you could probably improve it quite a bit. Might be able to get new people to watch it.

I know it'd never happen, but it would be a revision I could get behind.
