TIL that you should never ever post a web developer freelancer job on LinkedIn. I am buried in literally hundreds of messages that read:

"We have 17+ years experience in building websites using $top_3_chatgpt_results_for_static_site_generators”

Meanwhile, Mastodon is just endless love 💚💚💚.

If you are passionate about Proxmox like I am, you will love to read these kind of posts, because they've been systematically, logically and relatively simply formulated, so that it's digestible for the end user of proxmox all the way up to the diehard programmer who hacks in Proxmox code

new release of , the customizable timeline algorithm / filtering system for your Mastodon feed, counts the number of times each hashtag appears in your timeline even if people don't use a "#" character to give you a better sense of what people are talking about in the Fediverse.

there's a little bit of art vs. science here because some strings are disqualified from this kind of counting (e.g. a word like "the" should not be counted even if some maniac decided to make it a hashtag) so let me know if you see any weirdly high counts.

For users who just want instant messaging & group-chat, is it worth mentioning Delta Chat?

It leverages email, so all it needs is for the user to make an email address for it, which is an achievable goal for most people.

                        github.com/deltachat

Obviously I accept Signal is the easiest to "sell", because it has voice/video calling, and we can just say it's the one US cabinet members use, so it's sort of a "household name".
