I like how the small circular pool of water in the Bajoran temple on #DS9 in #StarTrekDS9's "In the Hands of the Prophets" forms part of the Bajoran emblem painted on the floor of the temple, namely the circular spiral at the bottom of the emblem. 🧵 1/2

OMG! Awesome line up for a Friday night. I’ll highlight VOY because Seven and Doc would’ve made a great couple. The writers blew it.

We see the largest version of the Bajoran emblem so far on the floor of the Bajoran temple on #DS9 in #StarTrekDS9's "In the Hands of the Prophets". I'll talk about the circular part a little more tomorrow before I finally move on to season 2...with more Bajoran-centric episodes! :-)
We get out best look yet at a clean version of the Bajoran emblem in the Bajoran temple on #DS9 in #StarTrekDS9's "In the Hands of the Prophets". Sadly, it's partially hidden behind a stele with an incense burner (?). We'll see this simple black on white version (rarely) in later episodes.
#StarTrekDS9's "In the Hands of the Prophets" is the only episode in which the asymmetrical illuminated Bajoran emblem from season 1 / early season 2 is seen from the outside ⬅️ and the inside ➡️ of the Bajoran temple on #DS9. Logically, it's horizontally flipped.
The interior of the Bajoran temple on #DS9 is not seen in many episodes but it appears for the first time in the season 1 #StarTrekDS9 finale "In the Hands of the Prophets". We get a slightly better look at the Bajoran emblem seen on the illuminated entrance banner.
We get out best look at yet at the season 1 (plus first third of season 2) Bajoran temple entrance on #DS9 in #StarTrekDS9's "In the Hands of the Prophets". As usual, the Bajoran emblem is so brightly back-illuminated that some of the details cannot be made out.
The poster with alien alphabets is seen again in the classroom on #DS9 in #StarTrekDS9's "In the Hands of the Prophets"⬆️. Just like in "The Nagus"⬇️, the Bajoran emblem cannot be fully seen. This will be rectified when the poster appears again in "Cardassians". I'll get there! :-)
#STarTrekDS9's "Duet" (what a great episode!!) is the third episode in a row which features a Bajoran officer stationed to #DS9 wearing the ensign rank pin. Ensign Neela appears for the first time in this episode but will have a much bigger role (and better pin close-ups) in the season finale.
#StarTrekDS9's "The Forsaken" is the first episode in which we see the Bajoran ensign rank insignia, worn by Anara. It consists of the circle, a shortened pin and (the right) half of the inner oval. This will be seen again in later season 1 #DS9 episodes.
The Promenade on #DS9 features this highly decorative sign, seen up close in only a few episodes, like here in #StarTrekDS9's "If Wishes Are Horses". If you look closely, you can see another highly stylized interpretation of the Bajoran emblem. :-)
